Temperatures in our reports are thermal-camera surface measurements. Apparent temperature depends on surface emissivity, ambient and reflected temperature, distance, viewing angle and weather. Conditions at the time of measurement are recorded in the report, but a measured value is not the true internal temperature of the structure.
Figures for losses, costs and payback are model-based estimates. Actual energy use depends on operation, weather, energy prices and many other factors, so we do not guarantee any saving or payback period.
The service is not an accredited test, an official inspection, an energy performance certificate, an electrical safety inspection, a fire-safety inspection or a structural opinion. For those, a duly authorised professional must be commissioned. Before acting on a finding we recommend an on-site check by the relevant trade.
